Pushback


Pros

Like all characters in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon, Alberto starts with Pushback. Alberto's Pushback is simple, just having a reduced cooldown down to 3 seconds for purposes of Body Field Effect influence/maintainance. It also requires no Augmentors, so investment is not an issue.


Cons

Since Alberto's Pushback is primarily used for Body Field Effect influence/maintainance, it is has little use outside of Body Field Effect team builds.



Knockdown


Pros

Like all characters in Story Mode and Endless Dungeon, Alberto starts with Knockdown, and is useful for making an enemy unable to fight back for 2 seconds while they receive 50% more damage.


Cons

Knockdown is nice for what it is, but it does not do anything beyond its status ailment. Its 15 second cooldown for its simplicity is also rather high.



Deadly Arts


Pros

Maxed out, Deadly Arts lives up to its name, a dash attack inflicting Attack x 4 damage and Stun, with the damage reaching as high as Attack x 16 damage if the enemy is Stunned before Deadly Arts hits, and all for a cooldown as low as 10 seconds. Stun Claws can greatly enhance the length of Stun that Deadly Arts inflicts, as well, and good positioning can hit multiple enemies.


Cons

While it is good for inflicting Stun, its high damage output is reliant on the enemy having already been Stunned, so ensuring that Alberto has other reliable Stun abilities and that the party is not inflicting Knockdown and/or Knockback is needed for Deadly Arts' optimal usage.



Light Chi


Pros

Light Chi is an ability that deals Attack x 2 damage and Knockback, with the ability to inflict 12x collision damage if the enemy was Stunned at the time of Light Chi inflicting Knockback. This makes it a good finisher for a combo of Body abilities in the form of Haymaker -> Deadly Arts - > Light Chi. Its 5 second cooldown also makes it both an excellent Body Field Effect influencer/maintainer and to keep enemies away frequently.


Cons

Light Chi's low damage output outside of collision damage of Stunned enemies makes it need planning for use. Even then, the collision damage can feel on the low side in higher level battles if Claire's Throat Jab or Brooks' Pushbreak is not present.



Haymaker


Pros

Maxed out, Haymaker deals Attack x 6 damage plus Stun (with Stun Claws enhancing the Stun time). Like most Body abilities, it can gain another 4x damage during the Body Field Effect, making it very useful for offense and defense by Stunning enemies for a long while to prevent them from fighting back.


Cons

Haymaker, aside from a somewhat high cooldown of 20 seconds, has very little negatives to it for Body Field Effect teams. It loses some effectiveness outside of this type of team, though.
